Is Dante immortal?

Well,i think that if he's decapitated,he should certainly die...Just like the Highlanders ;)

Other than that,i think he can live waaaaaaaaay longer than humans...

immortal not invincible haha. Just asking since the legend is Sparda disappeared something like 2000 years before DMC 1 an I thought Dante was born before that so he seems close to immortal

I think it said (paraphrased), "Two Millenia ago, a demon named Sparda awoke to justice and sealed away the Demon King and preserved harmony until his death"

I don't think that it means he died 2000 years ago. I'm not sure, but whatever. At anyrate, he seems to be more or less immortal unless beheaded.
