how pathetic the music industry is these days. It's all about money. Making money is more important than making good music. Looking good and being cool is more important than being talented and etc... Don't tell me that the pop and the hip hop on the radio requires talent because it doesn't.

Totally agree with OP, I think that money-chasing is the reason certain talentless, personality-free individuals are getting so much attention heaped on them, demonstrating again and again the true meaning of "a Polished Turd".

I agree. Perfect representation of today's horrific music-industry.

I watched it with my 2 year old and my wife and as a "retired" professional musician that worked in the industry for 16 years, I loved the parallels and the theme of this flick. Definitely not what I expected. Loved it for an entirely different reason than my son!!
