Again, why do they need "incredibly fabulous, famous actresses" to voice chipmunks?? It's not like they'll do a better job than anyone else, or even be recognizable for that matter. It's the same old cheap greedy trick to boost ticket sales with big names on the poster without adding anything whatsoever to the quality of the actual movie.
FYI, Disney's first decent-looking hand drawn animated film in nearly a decade comes out on the same day as this. Please, for the love of god, take your kids to see that instead.

I agree, if the target audiance is kids who'd care less then the voices dont have to be "name" talent.
