What kind of an idiot buries a beautiful double barrel shotgun??

Just sayin'....

:)

You're right, no human being would stack books like this.

reply

An idiot with a brain. Gimme that pump action from the trunk anytime.

reply

That whole gun scene was idiotic............But?....not surprising........gotta make that shotgun big, mean and scary!!!!

reply

You stupid asses, a concerned father buried that gun to protect his kids from getting hurt. He did what he thought was best. A weapon is NOT a thing to worship. It kills in the wrong hands.

reply

Oh stifle it. No one's talking about "worshiping" anything. A knife in the wrong hands can kill. A chainsaw in the wrong hands can kill. On the other hand, a good father WITH a firearm stands a much better chance of defending his family against a home invasion than a father WITHOUT one. If you would prefer to be the latter rather than the former, then I wish your family much luck.

Because the NRA endorses hiding loaded guns in your kids musical instruments just in case ancient mole creatures try to mate with your 13 year old daughter.

reply

Nice to read posts that posses commen sense........I gotta say that the old tired saying that liberals HATE to hear, simply cause it's true........."guns don't kill people.....PEOPLE kill people".....I mean, can any sayiing be more true?

reply

Yes. People kill people with guns is more accurate.

reply

I know right!
Why didn't he sell it, I mean I know he didn't need the money, but someone else could have used it, or I don't know, just take the shells out of it and stick it up in the attic.
Clearly he needed it later on in the movie but burying seemed really stupid.

reply

It's a crime I tell you.

We live by the Sun, we feel by the Moon

reply

I thought it was pretty stupid to bury it, too, just unload it and put it away, give it away, sell it, etc. That kind of turned me off to the movie at that point...in fact it's still on right now and I'm not watching, I'm on the board...lol.
