Man i saw this movie @ the cinemas, and to be honest with you all, i thought i really lost my money on watching a National Geographic documentary about how a few young lads with no money formed a brotherhood & became wave surfers. Nothing against the facts, but theres nothing special..these guys are talking about their daily lives, and how each day went by...man if i want to listen to a spoken biography, i'de rather watch that of someone really known and had a hell of a life like; Capote, Bundy, Malcolm, OJ, 2pac, Ripper, etc..

Maybe these guys should step foot in harlem a lil and find out hour ur death clock ticks everyday you step foot of your house with someone shooting up the block...a few scuffles here & there, and forming a lil gang is something i did in primary school with a few girls involved.

Wait for the DVD..

I actually went in expecting a cheesy gangsta surfer piece of fiction. So I was quite pleased with this instead.

I only went cause my mates wanted to see it. i wasnt expecting much at all but it was actually alright. ALMOST worth the 14.80 admission. i probably wouldve paid about 8 max tho haha

I expected the Bra Boys doco to be a bit better then it was, however I don't think it was built up with loads *beep* like other doco's can be. The Bra Boys story was told pretty much as it really is.

The book about the Abbertons and the Bra Boys - My Brothers Keeper is a pretty good read, if your into this kind of stuff.

i guess its someone else fault that you spent your money on a movie that you yourself went to see, why not just don't see it and not bitch about it later?
