Wheres my Special thanks?

I bought a credit on ebay, but my name is not listed, any ideas who i need to contact as I did not get a response to the message I sent via ebay.

I faced a similar problem recently when I was adding a credit for my wife as a makeup artist (on another film). I posted it one way, then the credit was changed to read another way. When I contacted IMDb help about this, they sent me the following response:

“As stated on our site, please be advised that our information is derived from on-screen credits. Whenever there is uncertainty or a dispute about a credit on a yet-unreleased title, our standard is to wait until the film is available and we can verify the on-screen credits.”

And if you “are able to provide a screener VHS or DVD that will allow our editors to verify how your name appears in the on-screen credits of the film, our editors will be happy to make all necessary adjustments to the listing.”

The Special Thanks contributors to this movie seem to be in the same boat. There were Special Thanks names credited on the Db’s page, then they were removed. I guess someone tried to contest them and as a result IMDb set them aside till the movie is viewable by them. I’ve observed that this movie has a Myspace page, maybe you should attempt to contact them there.

It originaly all names, it was nearly a year ago I bought it. Plus I got an e-mail asking how I wanted my name to be listed on IMDB

Well it looks to me that your name is posted on the films webpage as it is promised on the ebay page, so I don't understand what the problem is? I think you may have misunderstood something there, dude.

Anyway, it's kinda lousy to pay to get your name onto imdb, you should work your way to it, not just find the easy way. Seems to me your quick way just backfired cause you didn't read carefully. But then, ofcourse, that's just my observation.

Well, some producers never actually do anything but supply money and they still get credit so whats the diff?

Oh ya, you may need to add it yourself, I've had to do that before.
