Why dont people like this movie?!?!?

I just dont seee why. i've heard from alot of people all saying it sucked. i LOVED this movie. whats not to love about it?

reply

I don't understand why, either.
I had such a blast watching the movie! I even thought it was a top-notch!
I am normally very critical about movies. And I haven't had that much fun watching a movie since a long time ago.
It is packed with brilliant lines, humor, suspense, delight, and so on.

Well, I guess I'm just not gonna care what people say about the movie. I enjoyed it a lot. And that's the most important thing.

Im also very critical of movies, and thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A truly light hearted comedy, very well done

Agreed, too. I loved the film and have the DVD of it (Anchor Bay Entertainment).

Sarah Silverman Is Magic

Amanda Bynes is hot, Lindsay Lohan is not

reply

I think people were expecting a documentary about the United States money management system.

Not a light, humorous comedy lead by 3 women of different age groups.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

reply

I agree! I love this movie! I thought it was witty, smart, and very well acted. It was a cute story, but the lines were incredibly funny!

"But why is the rum gone?!?"

reply

I don't understand either. I know there are movie snobs, but I really enjoy watching this film, and the plot was fresher than a lot of raved-about movies out there.

Happy endings are just stories that haven't finished yet ~Jane Smith

I just found it to be really corny.

The first time I saw it I was eh, but Netflix and their instant viewing sucked me in another couple of times and it grew on me. It's fun! I watch a lot of films, but this def falls into the 'don't over-analyze' category. Each character is amusing in their own way, but Katie Holmes pulls the ditz off in a great way. It makes me smile.

A few days ago, I stumbled on a show Leonard Maltin does on a cable channel on films that are "forgotten" that he feels should be seen. This was one of them and mentioned it was running on STARZ. I caught it last night. It was a nice light comedy. Diane Keaton was fine and a actress I have liked for years. OK movie.

I didn't like Bridget's character. Though the other characters were okay at best, they were all greedy, and I thought it would have been better for them to walk away with nothing than the "they get the money" ending.

reply

I enjoyed it as well. It easier to whine than to appreciate.

This movie was horrible.
