Viewers shouldn't root for any of the main characters.

Just because the main leads are likeable, it doesn't justify thievery. Mad Money sends a terrible message. Obviously it isn't supposed to be taken seriously, but the problem with heist movies is that they make the main characters likeable to the point that the audience WANTS them to steal and get away with it, there's something wrong with this picture.

Mad Money is watchable, but that's about it. I didn't have any sympathy for the characters. They worked hard, but that still doesn't give them the right to steal even if the money was about to be destroyed. Are you telling me that they couldn't try and get better jobs, no one is ever too old to go back to university and career training.

I wish they'd have changed the ending. There's no one to root for here.

Said no one who has been turned down for college and/or career training because of age/disability ever...

It's hard to root for a character who was told no big-ticket purchases to avoid suspicion and then goes on and buys a $62,000 ring. Seriously?! I hated her character and that annoying smug look on her face.
