I watched this last night, and it was amazing, very tragic especially when you saw original film taken at Belsen all those years ago.
The tears were streaming down, and the times that I had to put my hand to my mouth in horror :( no matter how many times you see film of that, it can only shock you!.
Who was it who said Man`s Inhumanity To Man, was spot on!.
Extremely well made, it was like being back there, thank God we never went through that...
Those poor men woman and children, only mankind can do that to its own..
^ Agreed. A very difficult watch, extremely harrowing; the blending together of actual footage with the dramatisation sequences were highly effective. I appreciated the fact - I know it's hard to believe - that there were a few lighter moments in this production as well.
I started welling up when we were told that it was important to remind the victims that they were human (the lipstick).
A bit late I know :) but yes I remember about the lipstick :(
