My interpretation of the film...

My only possible conclusion to this extremely confusing film is that at the end of the movie where it is revealed that all the main characters are ghosts is that while they were being chased in the movie by the former worker who committed suicide and who's soul was unrest was that he was killing their souls in order to relieve them of being in Limbo and put their souls to rest.
