what is that song?

what is that instrumental composition that played everytime he is introduced as a guest in the late night with david letterman or in most of his guest appearances in some other shows?
i just want to know cos i find that one really cool introductory song. even in his appearances in johnny carson's shows they play that one already up to one of his guestings lately with letterman.
