It's definitely not a film for those unwilling to think outside the box!

As a viewer, when you are watching the film please question whether any characters or law enforcement authority actually knows what is happening as the events unfold. This is absolutely key in understanding the deeply unsettling plot. It's an incredibly original story with some very powerful visuals. A damn good film because it stays away from Hollywood conventions

yes, and the clincher there was "here comes the army, we're safe now"

but the army guy shoots himself to burst that bubble, so we have the direct 9/11 WMD gig there coming home to roost more and more in Iraq invasion as the years pass.

Jase! It's nice to see you've finally moved away from your "Americans are dumb" schtick. I guess you've learned that insulting millions of people is not the best way to start a conversation.

That being said, I disagree (respectfully this time). True, the premise of this film is quite original, I'll give you that. But the execution of it is abysmal. There's a few reasons why M Night's career vanished and this is one of them. It's self indulgent and it's gratuitous in every sense of the word. And that cast?  Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschannel? 
