Yes they did, It's called "Dark Rising 2: Summer Strikes Back. Plus they did a 12 episode Series that will air before the movie. I think it'll be coming out later this year. Love this Movie. Can't wait.

Yeah, Feb. 2011... Can't wait. But it differs from the plot of the first one, and almost looks like a completely different movie altogether. Reminds me of a messed up version of Starship Troopers.
Plus, when is the dark going to actually rise?
I thought the first movie's title "Dark Rising" meant that it was the beginning of the evil, and then instead of calling it something different - they call it "Dark Rising 2 or DH2", to make one suspect that the dark is still rising and hasn't yet risen all of the way yet. So what gives?
the first movie had some hotties but gotta admit it was quite stupid so i am surprised they are making a sequel, oh well i hope it is just better! tv show might be interesting, you say it is different from the movie?
