Real recommendations

I rented this movie last week and liked it very much. It's really my type of film; realistic (down to earth) setting, witty dialogues, strong characters played by talented actors. And I know the Belgian/Flemish film industry produced some fine stuff in recent years. But I was disappointed by the "automated" recommendations here on IMDB.

And so I'm looking for your recommendations on which dvd to rent next time. To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, in this genre, I've watched among others:

I really liked "Dagen zonder lief" a lot...
Another one that's not on your list, but a little on the lame/corny side: "Iedereen beroemd"
Maybe "Vidange perdue"

Soon there'll be a movie coming out called 'De Helaasheid Der Dingen'. It's an adaption of a book by Dimitri Verhulst, a well known author in Belgium.

Also, maybe check out Loft (2008). There was a whole craze about it here a few months back.

Misschien eens Ex-Drummer proberen. Toch ook een schitterende Vlaamse film.
