I think the CGI on the Lizard is terrific. But I was so desappointed with the design of the creature. There are so many comic book versions that look spectacular and they didn't take inspiration from those. It looks like a design that is supposed to apeal to a really young audience even though the movie is PG 13

shareThe effects were indeed good. The design itself? I’ve grown to appreciate it, especially after seeing the character’s return in NWH. Now I never disliked the way he looked per se, but I always thought they could have gone with a better design myself. Even so, while there’s no doubt that a more comic-accurate design would have looked far more menacing, I gotta say the final result works for me. He didn’t look completely like a Lizard (more human than total monster), and maybe that was for the best. If the character ever shows up again though, a redesign (or rather evolved look) would be great.
