Webshooters?
Spiderman needed to invent webshooters and wear it on his wrists? I thought Spiderman could naturally shoot webs out of his wrists, like the movies where Tobey Maguire was in.

Nope. He needed to invent webshooters to wear on his wrists. In the comic he made the web fluid from his chemistry set. While Peter Parker is clever and resourceful, the scriptwriters must have thought this would push the boundaries of believability a bit too much, so the movie has Peter using his scientific prowess to replicate the biocable sample he picked up from Oscorp.
So you're telling me Spiderman could NEVER shoot webs out of his bare wrists? He has always needed to wear webshooters? That's dumb. I preferred Tobey Maguire's Spiderman since he could shoot webs out of his wrists without wearing anything.

That's right. He only shot webbing out of his wrists in the Sam Raimi films. Although it was said James Cameron had the idea of organic webbing in a screenplay he once wrote.
