The Suit

I can understand SOME hate on the suit in this movie, along with the new logo, but why do people HATE it so much? I actually enjoy it more than the Raimi suits, even though it makes no sense how he got enough money to make something like that. For me anyway, I think it kept the spirit of spider man, while being creative. I think the suit in TASM2 is more accurate, but less creative. Don't even get me started on the new MARVEL suit, it's amazing. (LOL the irony)

I thought the suit looked, more than in Raimi, appropriately homemade-enough (but too much like Raimi's in TASM2). But Peter somehow buying the web-material (it seem more implied he bought it than stole it) did make him look like he had too much money or it just ignored that he didn't have much money for that scene.

I just think that this time thr tight suit emphasized how skinny Spider-man was.

1. BVS 2. TWS 3. Avengers

I liked the suit a lot. Recognisably Spidey, but with its own twist.

The suit is the coolest and best thing about the movie, as far as I’m concerned. Now, that’s not to say I dislike the movie, I just really dig the suit. It looks almost alien-esque (gives me Spider-Man 2099 vibes), yet it’s very much Spidey.

Marvel/Tom Holland’s one, though, is MARVELOUS AF. That one has a more classic look to it (its overall design is not as flashy or sleek as Maguire and Garfield’s), and even with some seriously cool updated additions, it is 100% Spidey. It’s amazing. Love the shutter lenses!

What's smart about the Homecoming outfit is that it allows Peter Parker to talk to the AI and not look weird.

A critic pointed out that this was an ingenious way to incorporate the many thought bubbles that Peter Parker had in the comics. Having voiceover played out as thoughts seems rather outdated for a film (what is this, a 1940s gumshoe picture?). So by having Parker talk constantly to his AI suit, it still captures Peter's inquisitive stream-of-consciousness of those old comic bubbles, but this time he really does have a reason to talk to himself (he's figuring out his new suit and telling the AI what he wants).
