Nobody had deodorant?

Okay I admit it, I'm an adult and got hooked on Flight 29 Down...

One question: it seems like after one week, everyone was complaining about not having deodorant. Wasn't their trip supposed to be at least two weeks? Wouldn't you pack deodorant?

I mean, it lasts awhile, right? It's not like they were stranded on the island for two months...

I'm just saying...

Maybe it was on the other plane. in the book, it mentions alot of the things they wanted or needed had been packed onto the plane carrying the other 10 students going on the trip.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!

my question is concerning the IPOD ...

WOULD YOU NEED A LAPTOP at least to charge its battery ..

or maybe if it's a mp3 player, i thought every mp3 player need computer/laptop to charge it.... but they don't have one and yet until at least day 10 they still can use it... Hoho

Maddie :Lots of people said I look exactly like sharpay
Zack :Really ? I don't see that.

yeah you'd think that they would've packed deodorant in their personal packs, but.. oh well. lol.

i think it was just a regular mp3 player. i might be wrong but the only player i saw was the blue one lex was holding in the fourth ep. of season one. didn't look like an ipod to me; that one could've used just regular batteries, and since they had a solar charger, that's what they used.
no idea how it would be possible with an ipod. lol.

Hello jgrv-1 - glad there's another adult who liked this show!!!

Well, as Taylor would say, "Gee, you think?", about packing deodorant, but, some of the teens at the camp I volunteer at every year sometimes forget to bring things with them for the week stay (at least they have Walgreens nearby!), so, it's possible, but, for all of the kids to forget is a stretch...

Perhaps that's why I could identify with the show - the teen volunteers at our subtropical children's camp are very similar in many ways (LOL) - we even have a Lex or two...

Our camp even has the Australian pine trees seen on the island where the filming of the show took place, so, that even made it easier for me to connect with the show...

The program was also a big help to me when my sister was in the final weeks of her illness - it gave me something nice to focus on when things were very stressful (I'll take a chance and say that was God's idea, because, just before I found 29 Down, I almost decided to discontinue the digital cable lineup that carries DK - glad I made the right decision).

Flight 29 Down has been fun to watch, though, I found (as an adult) that Season 2 was even better, because it gave the writers a chance to mature the characters, especially Taylor (who is a character - LOL)...
