I just finished watching the movie. My third time watching since seeing it the second time about a year ago. I never thought it was a bad movie. On this third viewing, I appreciated the movie more. I found that its actually pretty good and quite thrilling actually. I'm still not sure as to why the movie gets negative reviews and low ratings. Underrated really. Third time's a charm and I really enjoyed it.. Such a pity it didn't do so well at the box office.

I agree and I think the imdb rating alone suggests that Americans dont like what is very likely the truth about this war.

Rotten Tomatoes' ratings were even lower. I didn't think the movie was that bad.

i loved the movie i caught in on Satelitte one night on DTV so i recorded it on the DVR i still have it , i will have to watch this again,, as it was a very thought provoking movie.

It is adequate. I'm afraid I haven't been able to engage either time I've seen it.

Such a pity it didn't do so well at the box office.

I really like the film too, but it was a huge risk spending so much money on a film of this nature, which traditionally don't always have huge box office appeal. The Hurt Locker, though it eventually made some money, is the least commercially successful best picture winner in Oscar history and it's budget was almost one seventh that of Green Zone.
