Anyone else thought the two movies were similar? Samuel L. Jackson character seems similar to Ray Liotta's character in "Unlawful Entry". I seen the later, but I'm planning on watching "Lakeview Terrace" soon.

It has a similar tone, but not in any way a TOTAL REMAKE of Unlawful Entry.
Unlawful Entry rocks, this movie is OK.

Only thing they have in common is a cop abusing his power. Motives are different, so are the characters and the whole plot.
