We don't often see him in a leading protagonist role like this, he always plays cameo , supporting or bit part roles. he was good in this movie, I thought he owned it!!

i wasnt asking if he was in any leading roles, my point was you dont often see him in this kind of role, he often plays a supporting or cameo role no??

I dont know too much about ALL his work but ive seen a number of his films. This is my favorite film of his besides pulp fiction.

he has appeared as protagonists in many films. there're a few pretty good and dozens of pretty bad ones. For exp: Eve's Bayou, he accepted the lower-than-usual paycheck to help out a friend. many other movies that are shot & budgeted like tv dramas. But he always gave his best shot & its pretty enjoyable. I laughed a lot seeing him in those movies. like "No Good Deed", the movie is *beep* but lmao. i laughed throughout the movie. Sammy was as unconvincing as ever, but proved that his charisma can SHINE in ANY movies
