'As you can see.. he... is a Democrat!'

Easily the greatest line of this great movie!

In fact, one of the things I love about this movie is that while battling stereotypes, it still perfectly captures an archetype - the cosmopolitan, urban, well-to-do, do-gooder liberal politically correct person. And that person is Chris. I mean the guy drives a Toyota Prius, is an environmentalist, went to UC Berkeley, is from Chicagoland and probably voted for Obama in 2008.

Chris was supposed to be the protagonist, but for a guy like me (Libertarian Republican), Chris is more of an antagonist.

I hate Chris too, but because he represents someone who is full of *beep* Not for his beliefs per se.

you people need to get lives. please.

reply

You first.

So, you're going to wait until he gets a life before you do? Please, kill yourself immediately.

His name...was Julio Iglesias!

He's an antagonist because he's a Democrat?

Right. Gotcha. So you have millions of enemies out there now that President Obama has been re-elected. And you'll have millions more when Secretary Clinton is elected in 2016 and 2020.

Good luck with all that.

Never understood that line. When did Chris say he was a democrat? They only time Abel and Chris mention politics is when they're talking about climate change. You don't have to be a democract to accept climate change as fact.

Hell, I would never want to be associated or mistaken for a democract because they're idiots, but climate change is happening.

Also when Abel said, "it's snowing at the south pole". That's actually not true. Antarctica is a desert technically. It gets almost no precipitation. It never snows.

Antagonist? So does that mean you are a provincial,rural,poor,do-bad fascist politically incorrect person? For some reason you hate Toyota, hate the environment, have some problem with this University and Chicago and did not vote for Obummer in 2008?

Geez I guess in that case you have no choice but to root for the psycho neighbor who sends criminals to wreck up homes because they are inhabited by racially impure couples!
