Black-and-White

I watched Black Swan recently with the colors muted so it plays in black-and-white, and I feel as though the movie looks aesthetically more pleasing in black-and-white. The black-and-white in some ways helps improve the film's theme of the duality between the white and the black swan. Also, it makes the film seem more like a classic new-wave drama like something by Ingmar Bergman or Federico Fellini. Definitely watch the film in black-and-white the next time you see it! It adds another layer to the movie experience.
