even though some of the greatest actors and directors are canadian. our tv still sucks.

I sooooo agree. We keep on using actors known ONLY for commercials, and then wonder why our audiences dont find them interesting.

I would disagree with you about uncharismatic actors. Sebastian Spence is very charismatic actor, but in this sitcom he played character,which not suet him. Sebastian Spence have allot of fans after he played a lead role in First Wave and when he played Timothy Callahan a gay partner of the gay PI. He played really good and there are allot of people liked this movies and series.Just in Sophie his role was bad written or he just simply can't play jerk.
