HIV is not spread by biting someone, the killer would have to have an open would and bleed into the other mans open wound for there even to be a chance of transmission. the film was OK until they unraveled the big "secret" it was rubbish..

Even though the movie was a joke on sensationalized endings to 70's films (that are illogical) - we first got the idea when it happened to 3 officers in St. Lucie County years ago - and for a long time; the officers were required to wear gloves on the beat.
Your saliva carries the virus and; if it's a sealed bite - can transmit the disease easier than sexual transmission - as long as oxygen doesn't come heavily into play :-)
(Not to mention - the killer's mouth would already have abrasions - as he'd been thrown into a table which breaks, etc.)
