Argh!

All right, I could overlook the poor special effects, rushed fight scenes, and plodding storyline since this is, after all, a Sci Fi Channel production. Unfortunately just when the movie started to build my interest, the screenwriters had to throw in some cringeworthy modernday slang for the the actors. To wit:

"Would it be so bad to be immortal?"

"She's the Queen of the Damned."

"Nobody's perfect."

I'm sorry, but things like that just completely ruined the movie for me. It could have been an effective lowbudget movie otherwise,
