I love the inspector.

I saw part of it on TV during a pixar marathon and the thing that got me wanting to track it down and watch the whole thing was the fat inspector.

His lazy look, morbid obesity, and "I don't care" expression caught my eye. I just love the part where the little guy's hand sinks into him and it slowly retracts back like silly putty.

Unfortunately, Pixar is starting to lose a wee bit of their appeal for me now that they're recycling their animation.

The Inspector was really just a reworked Roz from "Monsters, Inc."

(But they did the same thing with the main feature, too. Linguini was based on the animation for Tony, "cool" guy at school that Violet, the Incredibles daughter, fancied; and Colette was a slightly revamped version of Honey, Syndrome's assistant, from the same movie. For me, it definitely takes away some of the entertainment value.)

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
