Hey, I haven't seen the Asian version of Amazing Race yet, but is it good?? Just want to know. And please, give me your roughly "unbiased" opinions ~

I loved it! In may ways I thought it was better than the U.S. version!

shareThe first season was awesome. Way better then the American Version. This season (so far) is like the All-Star Season. If you liked that then great, but I never liked the All-Star Season.

The first season was awesome! Great and varied cast. I also enjoyed the camaraderie between the teams.
The second season casted way too many mactors, including the intolerable Marc and Rovilson.
agreed, intolerable. those guys don't even need the amazing race, what with their respective sports-centric tv shows and miscellaneous product commercials. everything they do on the show seems so contrived. and how sucky is it that they've been consistently in 1st after the season premiere? they might deserve their first-place finishes, but i don't have to like it. and i hate that daichi & sawaka were eliminated!

The Asian version is very, very good. With the exception of Marc and Rovilson casting in both seasons has been good. A good variety.
I commend their racing. They are good. But their hammy displays for the camera are not entertaining and distract from the race.
Like even though Andy and Laura were "villains" for last season, they were still a funny, snippy, and AUTHENTIC team. No fake camera mugging or silly props to win over the audience like Marc/Rovilson.

the asian version is pretty cool. challenge are very harder than US version and longer, very tough that many teams cant complete task and cost their elimination.
Also the distance between first and last is far, just like amazing race US first few seasons, not much equalizer as for a should reality especially on getting early flights. the equalizer in US make the show dumb, it's part of strategy to be ahead always. and getting 1 or 2 day ahead in flight should be big advantage

I think the above poster is trying to say that the challenges are more strenuous on the Asian version. I don't think challenges or "legs" actually have a sexual orientation and aren't "gay".

shareI've seen every season of the US and Asian shows and my favourites season is one of the US ones but generally the Asian seasons are better, challenges are slightly tougher, teams are usually 'nicer' people and there is less hostility between the teams
