I'd prefer LOTR over this show. I've had issues with it from the beginning, whereas the LOTR and Hobbit films have [mostly] lived up to people's expectations.

The animated Hobbit is much more satisfying. Richard Boone was a GREAT Smaug.

I think it means that these hypothetical anyones are Adderall popping, smart phone addicted people who can't focus on something for longer than 6 seconds.

The first four seasons of GoT had it on a trajectory to be one of the best shows ever. However, not only did they not stick the landing, they shattered both of their ankles and the audience screamed in horror as they were dragged off the mat, with shattered legs, pointing in crazy directions.

Skip both and read the books. Although Fellowship of the Ring is actually a great movie, and season's 1-3 of GoT, but the rest is just absolute trash
