I doubt I ever will.
People bitch about shows ending badly decades after the fact. GOT is just the latest corpse on the pile. We haven't even got to the stage where movies use the show as a punchline yet.
shareForgiven them for what? The show was great. Season 8 seemed a bit rushed, but very well done otherwise. Somebody was going to be unhappy no matter how they ended it.

But the producers managed to go above and beyond the usual level of disappointment, and bring most of the fandom to actual frothing rage! Remember the "REMAKE IT, YOU BASTARDS" petition that got over a million signatures? Yeah, lots of people were disappointed in the final episodes of "Mad Men" and "The Sopranos" and other long sagas, but no other show ever got a million people to sign off on it!
I didn't think it was that bad.
Though it was kind of lame Bran getting the Iron Throne. That didn't make a lot of sense.
Seems like whenever a popular show comes to an end, there's a lot of disappointment and fan rage. The only exception I can think of is Breaking Bad. People seemed to like that finale.
Not until they announced a remake of the final session.
