Daenerys And Her Dragon - a Metaphor of the US and Its Nuclear Arsenal?

We see Dany using her dragon to lay destruction upon the innocent citizens of King's Landing in the name of freedom and liberation, and planning to do the same to other cities in the name of freedom if they do not submit to her rule.

We also see shell-shocked citizens of King's Landing wandering around in a daze with their clothes burned off - not unlike the survivors of thr nuclear devastation inflicted upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Has anyone else noticed this?

None of those writers put that much thought into it. Besides the analogy falls apart quickly. If anything it's more like the fire bombing of Dresden.
