I don't know. There's a good chance that the fandom arguments about season 8 will continue for a long, long time.

If everyone liked it then there'd be nothing else to say, but very few liked it and they're willing to argue about it. And then there's the endless possibilities for arguing about how it could have done better, that's a subject I'm willing to worry away at for a long, long time.

Maybe. The show is over now, and once the arguments about Season 8 die down, there'll be no reason to come back to start new discussions. After all, the show has been discussed since it started eight years ago.
