No one talking about Cleganebowl?

Cleganebowl finally happened, and I can't find any thread discussing it. How come?

reply

Because it was boring. It was always going to be boring. You can’t kill a dead man.

Sandor could have tried to kill Gregor at any point in his life if he was so desperate for revenge. Sandor was also never suicidal.

The confrontation between the two was purely fan service for people demanding “Cleganebowl”. It didn’t feel like organic storytelling, particularly after Sandor ostensibly became a “good guy” after joining Team Stark.

I agree with this, although I don't mind Sandor's arc of him becoming more moralistic as the show's gone on and fighting with the Starks. The suicide mission however feels tacked on. I feel like he'd kill his brother in order to protect someone else, but wouldn't actively go looking to kill him.
