Bronn still wants his castle

He was promised Highgarden by the Lannister brothers and he'll be damned sure that they pay up.

Kings Landing devastated? Cersei nowhere to be found? Bronn hears that the Dragon Queen is around there and that means the little snot Tyrion is not too far away. I guess if she's the new boss then she can offer up Highgarden. If not, then it will be an arrow through the heart for her. No messing about. ;)

I like that idea but after this most recent episode, I think Bronn will get BBQ if he proposes taking Highgarden.

reply

Dont worry about that, it was just a dream

He'll be on the King's council along with Tyrion, Davos and Sam. Bran will be elected King.

I can't imagine they would try to shoehorn him into the last episode. They basically showed what they wanted - that his character never grew or changed at all. Money was always what mattered most to him and he will throw anybody under the bus to get it.

reply

To be fair, the Lannisters are supposed to pay their debts and they have never given what he was promised: A castle and a highborn bride. I don't get why people think he's being unreasonable in wanting what he was promised.

reply

The world is at war and turning to ashes and he's still harping on something that may no longer exist tomorrow?
Yeah, he's not only lost all points of interest as a character with no character..
he IS being unreasonable.

reply

Well he doesn't get to be Warden of the Reach, Sam is heir to that office and Sam has absolutely invulnerable Plot Armor!

So I think Bronn dies in the finale. Pity, I'll miss him, and I wouldn't miss Sam.

As a side note, it's good to know that Martin doesn't hate TV Bronn: :)
