shareDon't you start.
Excuse me?
shareOK, I'll bite... (only trolls say that DVD is better than Blu-ray)
What type is your TV? CRT?
It's only a 22" screen tv
I guess the bluray does look better but it seemed darker why I think I said that
You didn't answer my question, I'm not interested in the size of it. Is it a big bulky box TV or a thin screen?
If it's a big bulky box type, then DVD will certainly look better on it, as that's what it was designed for. But DVD looks horrible on a thin screen, as the latter has much higher resolution capability, and they never upscale the image correctly.
I've seen DVDs that look so good on an HDTV that you could've told me they were Blu-Rays and I would've believed you. I think it all depends on the uprezzing capabilities of your player.
I have a Blu-Ray player but when I rent from Redbox I always rent the DVD for this very reason. They look good enough on my TV that it's just not worth paying more. If I'm buying a movie to own it, sure, I'll buy the Blu-Ray. But otherwise, DVD is just fine.
