I am almost done with season 4 rewatching it again. Just got done watching the big battle at the wall in episode 9. There was only supposed to be like 105 night watch men on the wall. Sure seemed like over 100 men got killed. If it wasn't 100 it had to be close and there shouldn't have been so many left.

5 or 6 died alone killing the giant. Jon's girl took out a bunch herself along with the huge bald guy that Jon crushed with a hammer. I could go back and watch it again and start counting but don't want to bother. Has anyone read or did anyone like Jon ever say how many men they lost that night and I missed it.

What do you think? Maybe I will go back and fast forward through it and get a rough count after I'm done with season 6. Don't think I will re watch season 7 since it was so recent.

22 only? That surely seems like a ridiculously low number. I'll comment again after I watch it again. Just finished season 4, that was a great season IMO. Especially the last 2 episodes. Thanks for the info BTW.

Having a strong defensive position really helps, and theirs was one of the best defensive positions anyone could hope for in a battle. But also the wildlings didn't throw everything they had at them. From Mance Rayder's perspective, it was just a skirmish to test the Night's Watch's defenses. Though from the Night's Watch's perspective, it was a battle for survival in which everyone had to fight like a lion to win.

Well it ended up actually being 50 but it still seemed like more. I guess it's possible if they had a lot of men not actually die from their injuries. It just seemed to me like a lot more should have been dead.

For example, Jon's girl was picking them off left and right and she had to kill a bunch more while they weren't showing her onscreen.

Jon confirms 50 died near the end of season 5. So I guess you were just giving me some BS number and I believed you were being honest like a dumb ass.

I don't get people like you but if trolling makes you happy I hope you got a laugh out of me believing you. I even thanked you, jerk.
