“If you ever call me sister again, I’ll have you strangled in your sleep”

One of my favorite Cersei lines. But has anyone ever noticed that Margaery refers to her as ‘sister’ within the next couple episodes? Can’t remember the exact episode or context, but I recall it happening and being blown away. Since Cersei didn’t kill her right after, nor was Margaery’s death in that manner, I’m going to chalk it up to a writing error and let it go. But still, dang. If I had been Margaery, I just never would’ve used that word anywhere in any context ever again.

If it's any consolation, Margaery gets blown up at end of season 6.

Fair, it just surprised me. Because Cersei isn't really one for empty threats. So when Margaery slipped and called her 'sister' again, I was fully expecting her to get strangled in her sleep.

She didn't slip when she said again, she was clearly rubbing it in by reminding her that she was marrying Loras and Joffrey was going to be marrying Margaery. That is why the camera lingers on Cersei after the comment to show she is REALLY trying to hold her anger in.

At least Margaery got a little satisfaction, with Cersei thrown into prison, alas Cersei was released and Margaery converted to fanatical faith, resulting in her death by Cersei.

Smug and Arrogant wins the day again.

Margaery didn't "convert" she was playing for the benefit of The High Sparrow. Didn't you notice when Jaime and Mace arrived at the Sept and confronted the High Sparrow, she looked shocked that her father and Olenna were there? That the Tyrell and Lannister soldiers came for her benefit to stop her walk of atonement. She also passed her grandmother the rose which meant she was still there and still a Tyrell. Next when she confronted the High Sparrow during Loras' trial and while awaiting Cersei's arrival. She hadn't converted, she was playing the High Sparrow at his own game.... and winning.

Margaery did it on purpose, to show she had already gotten her hooks in Tommen, giving her leverage over Cersei. Also, Cersei needed to gain favor with Mace Tyrell, because he was one of the judges for Tyrion's trial. She was trying to get his vote to convict Tyrion. Notice she also went to Oberyn around that same time for the same reason.
