Political elites really know how to protect themselves

They are willing to issue a presidential pardon for Hilary Clinton:http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-11-09/white-house-won-t-rule-out-pardon-to-protect-clinton-from-trump

Law just doesn't apply to these people. You wonder why people call her a corrupted political elite.

It's like all those bankers who never got charged. There has to be a criminal act, and intent to commit a crime. Comey (a Republican who contributed to both McCain's and Romney's campaigns), will continue to claim he finds nothing indicteable. But he did his job on her two weeks befor the election.

Clinton's act of hubris was gross incompetence, an example of that "bad judgement" her camp allued to in Wikileaks.

So of course, she'll skate.

But she has to know that server gross stupdiity with classified material is probably why she lost the presidency. Most people will probably feel that's punishment enough.

I think it is a bit more than that. I think it says two things:

1) There is arrogance in act like this. It is not negligence, you have to deliberately arrange it. There are obvious security implications but Hillary chose to ignore it, why? Has anyone else ever done this before? Obviously because she thinks she could get away with it.

2) To ignore national security issues, especially when she is the secretary of state, for what? It is clearly to hide anything she does not want other people to see. Because if emails go on to government servers there could be back ups, she can't erase them. Just what was she trying to hide? Incompetence? Corruption? Her wall street speeches?

I think that is why she lost the election. You can't have a both incompetent and corrupted person as president. Trump maybe many things, but at least he is not that, at least not proven yet.

Monica Lewinsky's Boyfriend's Wife has been protected for almost four decades, now. If Watergate, Whitewater, Filegate, Monicagate, Bullets-Over-Bosnia, Foundationgate, Email-gate, Benghazi, etc...didn't stick, they, and the rest of the baggage, probably never will. But it will be funny to hear just what exactly she'd be pardoned for, and to hear the "explanations" of her supporters as to why they were just fine voting for someone who had to be pardoned for _____(insert crime/scandal/corruption here)_______ .

You can say that again...
