What happened to the daughter?

Did you notice that the daughter just disappeared after she divorced Percy? I guess they had to save money and eliminate her from the storyline. Marie really wasn't a very sympathetic character despite her nostalgic appeal. A little different from Fannie Brice, who was of course romanticized in Funny Girl but I think was a nicer person (at least her son said so).
Still very interesting and I will rewatch the yummy parts with Richard.
