I am a very big fan of Harry Potter video games. I enjoyed the first three games but I was very disappointed with the fourth one (Goblet of Fire). Does this game (Order of the Phoenix) have many of the features of the first three or is it just as bad as the fourth?

The only way to answer that is to know WHY you disliked GoF so much. I'll have to assume because it had no "free roam" like the other three, which was most people's biggest complaint.
OoTP has free roam. There are no wizard cards to collect. There are more areas of the school and grounds to search. There are a few mini "side-games" to play. There is no loading time every time you enter a different area, which is fantastic!
If you're one who likes to get 100% completion on a game, this one makes it fun---especially if you don't know how to play chess! Overall, I enjoyed it.
