Excellent series. I've just watched tonight's episode #4 'Vanunu and the Bomb' and need to know the title of a piece of music. It's never easy to describe such things but here goes:

During the scene where Vanunu is socialising with the Mossad honey trap girl on a London balcony and also at the end when he is released from prison there is a very atmospheric piece of music playing. I can best decribe it as sounding contemporary played on synth organ but with a more classical structure: slow, harmonic, majestic. I recognise it has having been used in a big film in recent years.

You'll either know what I talking about or you won't - probably not because of my rubbish description - but if you do I NEED to know. Please help!

I am also scratching my head to identify this music. Much of the music in this episode is by DJ Shadow (Endtroducing), however not in this scene. It is similar style to music on William Orbit's - Pieces in Modern Style album, but having checked the album it is not there...

I have a recording of the program but, I would still like to identify this track!

Incredible! I tried a piece of software called Tunatic, played my recording of the program and it correctly identified this track as:

"An Ending (Ascent)" by "Brian Eno"

Nick, you're a hero! You hit the nail on the head, thank you very much indeed. There was nothing useful on the BBC or any other websites and it is infuriating trying to track down a piece of music with nothing to go on. I'll have to try that service you mentioned.

By the way, I now see that the film I was thinking of was 28 Days Later.
