Justice Illinois

I am from Justice,IL and I thought that this film was better than the one that was actually shot in Justice & Willow Springs starring Joe Estevez. I thought that some of the neighborhoods where the main character (Kevin Schmidt) lived looked like the affluent towns of Burr Ridge or Hinsdale (not far from Justice distance wise.)

As far as the mountains go... I was thinking it looked like the Village of Lemont. There are some high hills in Lemont, but no mountains. I used my imagination!

If they (film makers) tried to film this in Illinois at the real Resurrection Cemetery they would have been refused. Years ago they had some fingerprints that were burnt into the bars of the front gate of Resurrection Cemetery that were said to be "Mary's". It caused major traffic Jams due to all the gawkers and those bars had to be removed. It still would have been cool to see the Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, which at one time and still might be in the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest stained glass window. I loved how the "Unsolved Mysteries" Resurrection Mary segment was used in the movie and was hoping they would have included the whole segment on the DVD.

I agree. It worked very well.

I agree, but it still would have been cool if they filmed some of it here. Seeing them actually drive down archer or like roberts rd or something. It would have been cool to see some of the actual local landmarks instead of "valley highschool" (which I am going to guess the writer did that because moraine valley?).

I can remember watching unsolved mysteries when I was a kid and I even remember that segment. Of course then my friends and I had to go ride our bikes to the cemetery after dark and scare the hell out of each other.

Cool flick either way. Next maybe they will do one on bachelors grove or the irish castle.
