I have no idea why it is so expensive in the US, I picked up it here in Sweden for $3 today.

I just brought the German release for dirt cheap, just order direct from German amazon if you have a multi region player

It's out of print.

This DVD is out of print. You can still get it through Netflix.

Be aware though the German release is heavily cut.

Also it is worth noting that Unearthed films is releasing this movie restored it it's completely uncut version on July 22nd. It is much cheaper.
