Whether you liked the movie or not, you have to admire Danielle's fortitude. Sure, many other actresses have done on-screen nudity; but they are usually brief, in a small environment with minimum crew. Danielle is completely nude, out in the open; and since action scenes often involve multiple takes, she was probably nude for hours at a time during the shoot.
She may not get an award for acting; but for bravado, she gets an A+ in my book.
I saw this movie on (very late night) Showtime last night and I thought it was well done, and I was very impressed with her performance. Clearly the most interesting part of the movie was the chase scenes and Danielle had the double-whammy challenge of being naked AND having very little dialogue. Given those constraints, she managed to convey a lot of emotion in a very believable fashion and elevated what could have been just another exploitation flik to a genuine thriller.
I have to agree, Danielle made this movie with her strong performance. That said, I also have to give credit to the director, who gave the hunt and chase sequences genuine suspense and excitement. The first forty minutes were so dull that I was surprised to see how effective the last hour was.
I would have cut out a lot of the subplots and just kept the focus strictly on Danielle's character and the killer.
A plot twist that I would have liked to see would have been a complete role reversal. When she knocked him out with the rock, I was hoping she would have taken advantage of the situation and put him in the same position that she was in, and then when he woke up she could have made him feel terrified for a change. But the story was still pretty good, and she did get even of course.
shareDeLuca was very good and sympathetic in the lead.

I liked DeLuca, but I think Sasha Peralto would have been better in the part. She has an even prettier face and better body (which says a lot because DeLuca is a hot babe!) and gives off a stronger "innocent girl" vibe than DeLuca that would have made the film even more effective.
