My personal opinion of the show is that it was the best pilot that aired on Sunday. Granted, I might have a prevously unknown liking for low budget live action programs, but I loved the absurd fanboy humor. I truly hope its picked up.
It has, of the shows premiered Adult Swim has ordered a season of Fat Guy and Superjail. Can't say I'm too thrilled with the other one but hey 50/50 aint so bad.
Seeing as the premise and pilot are nothing more than a cheap rehashing of the content of Tron, I doubt this will get picked up. Seems like almost borderline copyright infringement to me, despite the purposefully low tech look and poor acting.
Next thing you know, adult swim will be airing a cheaply produced live action 15 minute show about a futuristic park where dinosaurs are genetically cloned with wacky results, or a cheaply produced live action 15 minute show about a group of medieval themed villagers on a quest to destroy an evil ring.

Sheesh.
I'm betting you don't get invited to parties a lot...am I right?
Just a hunch.
Come on, man...it's harmless...and very funny.

The production values didn't seem too bad really, but it's the writing that just seemed pretty poor. For something that has a lot of scope for in-humour - jokes about the technology, it didn't do a very good job. It brought to mind that moment in Futurama where everyone steps into the Internet. Leela says something like "let's search the web" - and they all raise a hand to their heads and gaze round. Nothing as clever as that here.. but just for a moment after he's just arrived, it seems to be going somewhere with all the legend of the programmer stuff, but then doesn't follow through.
Geffers... I agree 100% concerning the writing in 'Fat Guy'...it's a shame they changed so much of the plot/characters/writing from their original version of this, called 'Gemberling'...THAT was funny as all hell, tho the production values were bargin basement.
Didn't matter tho, when the gags were as memorable and silly as they were...pity they had to 'upgrade' the premise...tho the recent eps HAVE been good, they just aint as great as 'Gemberling' was, IMO.
