Got my copy from Amazon yesterday...been playing it practically all day (yesterday and today!!) and have reached the penultimate level already on hard mode.

Just wondering what people think (those who have got/played it) I don't wanna hear from people who judge the game by the demo and trailers because the actual game is much better.

I think the landscapes are amazing...really exemplifies what the game title actually is: Tomb Raider!!

I also think Lara has drastically improved since Legend: she seems more "stable" now - I found her a bit all-over-the-place in Legend, like she hadn't settled in to her new controls!!

Also love the enemies and how they communicate with one another

The tiny details add so much to the game too...for instance, when she falls from a waterfall, she bunches her body up so she dive-bombs into the water!! And when the animals die they kinda slide across the floor instead of just collapsing. The background noises were cool too (they actually made me jump in the Egypt levels) and some of the puzzles were quite challenging! I think all these details show what TR can actually be about and that Anniversary was 95% better than Legend.

The only thing I didn't like was that the swimming controls were not improved since Legend.

Overall, I rate 4.5 :D

nah it's fine! the loading is actually pretty good (pn ps2). I've just completed it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now gonna slowly go back through it to find the secrets!!

So far I've only died when Lara decides she's going to misbehave and not ju,p where I tell her. And in the Damocles Room. Man, that puzzle was one of those "easier said thand done" moments!

i'm now after all the relics and artifacts! it's taken me nearly an hour to jump across the stoooopid spike and pillar room in king midas level to get the relic!!
