how different is Anniversary compared to the original

I do not want spoilers

It is different but at the same time there are alot of things that will remind you a lot of the original one. I like it, the graphics are beautiful

It's like Batman Begins compared to Batman (the one made by Burton)... Better action, better graphics, and better actors.

how long is it

If you know where everything is and never die, 12 or so hours. However if you want to unlock everything and relatively new to the series, it'll be at least 20 hours.
