i answered my own question the character name is Troy. Ther eis no listing on imdb though.
I saw troy as phil brown on the credits now.
Seemed like an okay movie, my little brother was watching it but Phil's acting was very good.

There are a lot of "Phil Brown's" listed on IMDb. I saw the "DCOM Extras" and one of them indicated he was a New Zealander, like Rose McIver. I tried to look up some New Zealand-related acting sites to find the guy, but no such luck. Is there a NZ equivelant of the Screen Actor's Guild, and do they have a website?
