Chris......shut the *beep* up!!!

goddam that kid was soo *beep* annoying in the movie. He completely ruined it for me. Someone should have slapped the *beep* out of him and sent him to his room. Hell...even when he was a happy good kid he was still annoying as *beep*

And sam? he doesnt even look like the kid from the first movie. I know they couldnt have gotten the same guy but at least they could haev gotten somoenw with more of a resemblence!

My dad and I were both saying the same thing throughout the movie! Chris was so annoying and nothing about his character was likeable.

I also agree with the Sam thing.

GOD HE *beep* PISSED THE CRAP OUT OF ME; I was so overwhelmed with the urge to just reach into the tv and beat the living *beep* out of the little *beep* since his mother was too busy coddling him to do it.

GOD. I completely agree that it ruined the movie for me; It would've been the first DCOM I actually liked in a while if it wasn't for Chris.

And I'm confused; was Sam supposed to be the black kid he became friends with in Vermont whose dad was in the military? I don't remember his name. If he was, I totally agree with you.

reply

Lol. My dad was watching it and he was like "Somebody needs to smack that kid."

jake t austen apparently did a great job playing chris -- he was supposed to be annoying!

lil j, who took over the "sam" role, did a good job, too. i thought that the chemistry between him and johnny was easygoing, believable, and fun. the moments between johnny and his grandpa were excellent, too.

reply

Dude that kid DEFINITELY needed a smack. He's such an annoying little bitch!

reply

I don't agree, its all how the actor perceives the character he is to play. If they got another actor, he could have been more likable, and played the part differently. This kid had a whiny voice to begin with and even when he was suppose to be happy he still was annoying. He looked younger than 12, and his acting was nothing to write about. They should have picked someone different and older to play this part and it would have been a good show. Whoever hired this kid, does not know what they are doing, obviously.

reply

I agree. Chris ruined it for me too.I felt the movie was more about him and his problems. I understand the character was supposed to be annoying, but by the end of the movie I was hoping that he would drown.

I can't believe how terrible you guys are being. Jake T Austin (Chris) did a great job in the movie. He was supposed to be a regressor because of his situation. 12-years-old, mom getting married to a new person, new family addition. At 12-years-old kids need their parents more than anything. What about the scene when he & Johnny are talking and Chris wants to turn everything around? I thought that was a tender moment between the 2. Chris just changes his ways, realizing that Johnny was trying to be his friend. Give the kid some credit. I think he actually portrayed a REALISTIC view of some kids his age who would go through that situation.

reply

He portrayed the character as a self absorbsed spoiled brat, and if the people who are watching this show, do not see anything likeable about this character, than obviously there is something wrong with how Jake T. Austin went about playing this character. Obviously they picked the wrong child to play this part. The people watching this show are suppose to find it entertaining, not annoying, so if that happens then you know that it is the actors who flaw the movie. A movie becomes great, because of the actors who play the part, the storyline may be really good, but if you get the wrong person to play the characters, the movie will most likely bomb, as this did.

reply

you know what?? all you people out there who are talking crap about this kid annoy the *beep* out of me!! he was supposed to be annoying!! and if he got on your nerves then that means he did a good job playing chris. thats what he was supposed to do. come to think of it he probably isnt really like that in real life. thats why they call it ACTING. he was acting! so you guys can shut up now and move on with your life.

reply

I know what you mean! the first time I saw him on the movie, I was like, " Damn, athis kid has an annoying, loud voice!" "Somebody woop his ass!"

Don't be so mean to Jake!!! He is so cute and he was ACTING. Duh! And, hey, how would you feel if your mom was getting re-married?! What happened to his dad?!?! I think he is an awesome dirtboarder, but he was stupid to make that jump. Ouch!!!

reply

It's not Jake's {Plays Chris} fault that he had to be like that. The director made the character that way & He had to play it. You can't make fun of something that you have no proof on. Keep your opipions to yourself! People read these & for a matter of fact Celebs do to! & about the sam thing..johnny kapahala was made a few years ago so they prob couldnt get him but they thought this guy was a good actor & people change. People get taller, and their faces do change so the director and people don't really know if people care about it

reply

if the only people that think he's a good actor are people who personally know him....... well thats just sad.

if would know him i'd smack him for being so annoying.
