An interesting poem I found.

I'm not sure if it has to do anything with the series (although it sounds like it does).

As I flipped through the pages,
Each page is filled with sorrow,
And sadness,
Sadness that'll,
Last for eternity... ...

Even if the pages,
Are being torn through time,
The curse'll never break,
It'll remain forever,
The chain of sadness,
Binding us forever... ...

Until the 1000th summer,
I heard a faint cry,
From the blue sky,
I saw a girl,
Weeping in the clouds... ...

Weeping bitterly,
As if she has lost something,
Something precious,
Something even greater,
Than the wonders of the world... ...

Until the 1000th summer,
I'm still confused and sad,
I search through the pages once more,
But still,
What did the girl lost??

A dream came,
I saw a girl,
She flew to me,
With her pure white wings,
She cries again,
She said, "I'm sorry I couldn't protect our dreams"
These words made me realize,
She was the one,
Still searching for the dreams,
Dreams that cannot be returned... ...

It does kind of sound like AIR, how it talks about the 1000th summer and a girl who has wings and is sad. It's actually quite ironic as well. Because I wrote a poem inspired by AIR. All I really did was put the AIR story into a poetic-like summery. This is my AIR poem.

The 1,000th summer…
Standing on the sea wall
Staring at the ocean
Wishing to fly through the sky overhead
Through the clouds
Alongside the birds
Looking down at the glistening water
The gentle blowing wind would carry me
Like a dream coming true
But to love someone is a sin
My curse that binds me and my wings
That holds me back and destroys me
For to speak of my love for anyone
Is to slowly wither away
But the pain of a heartache
Is far greater then that of physical pain
So before the next moon rises
I will love intensely
And parish immensely
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Breathe deep,
Hold tight,
Spread my wings,
And take to the skies
This is the story of AIR.
Thank you very much! It's nothing special though. Like I said, all I did was sum up the story. But I really do appreciate the complement! ^_^
And please just ignore jamesboland, he followed me here to this board from the board of the show called Ghost Hunters. Hence the "no such things as ghosts" subject line. He's just a troll who likes to bug people.
